R.I.P

So finally after 48 hours of intense battle with the terrorists the taj, trident and nariman house are safe. All thanks to the nsg black commandos. What I wonder is whether Mr. raj Thackeray checked the identity of those martyrs or those who laid there lives to save Mumbai. Where was i-am-the-only-one-who-cares-about-mumbai guy when the city was under siege? Did he even go out to donate blood?
And now what? What is the government doing? What it is going to do is give some compensation to those affected and be done with it! What the government should start is terror taxes or terror cess for the future you see. Because all this is going to continue. People are going to die and all the government can do is pay compensation and make statements, blame each other and be in the lime light. Till the next time.
It’s been a few hours and hemant karkare is now reduced to ashes. What I expect and await is mr.amar Singh’s statement. I am waiting for him to come and comment and doubt his credentials. Please spare us all you politicians. all we want is the end of terrorism.
We are no longer safe in our homes and what can get worse than this? Now its all on us. We have to stand up and understand our responsibilities towards our nation. What can we do? We can vote. We can choose the correct government and the correct leaders. Let us do justice to this right bestowed on us.
And for now all we can do is pray. May all those who died in this unforgivable act rest in peace.

  1. Its just a common man who really cares, who really suffers. It was so pathetic to watch people crying for their died relatives. Politicians just care about their seats.. They give speeches to secure their seats. And whom shall we vote for.. Last time congress and this time BJP?? So that nobody will be in power for long to spoil our lives.. We still dont know who is genuine.
God bless all the innocent souls who were unaware of the death eyeing for them at the next door. And God bless the all souls, who had given their lives for the people, whom they had never seen, never known.

  2. i have watched what happened very closely. as close as 1.5 Kms away from the action... but then this time around i dont wana talk abt issues and problems.. bcoz by now i guess everyone knows it.. trying to think what we can do to solve it.. and i guess there is more to it than just voting and choosing the leaders.. trying to do something abt it.. read my blog in few days.. (not trying to market my blog.. but infact i m right now not done with the plan)

  4. well ya i guess u are right everybody is well aware of problems and issues by now. So what can be done other than voting or choosing the leaders? bycotting the votes?
Anyway it really feels good knowing somebody still thinks positive, when we all are torn up.. Many people have become paranoid after these successful bomb blasts all over the country... Somebody needs to boost up their faith in themselves and in God. Somebody is actually needed to make them think positive. Its a war, and we cant run like cowards or can't sit idle irated... At the end of the day its we, the people, who make a country and not those handful of politicians and diplomats..

We can atleast start up with some measures to dimish the risk of being killed like an insect without putting in any efforts to survive..

  6. I guess being positive will only let us be as rational as we need to be for doing something about this issue. Yes u got it right Shesha.. there are so many different ways we can contribute.. joining some of these campaigns run by media is one thing.. but i believe far more needs to be done.. if we can track the actions steps outlined by the government to see if what all is being actually implemented then it might help..additionally i feel we indians are so brilliant that we solve problems of biggest companies in the world.. why not use it for solving terrorism this time.. lets be positive but not forget what happened...

  7. Aditi, great blog overall, and nice post. We need all the emotion that the incident has created along with all the tolerance that we can summon to change the mindset of people. Stepping up security and caccooning ourselves has to be done, and will work to a certain degree, but the ultimate solution lies elsewhere.
